Promotions Assistant

Location: WARM/WSOX/WSBA, York PA

Supervisor: Joel Murphy - Director of Creative/Marketing Services

Job Summary: Assist in the coordination and execution of all aspects of radio promotions on WARM/WSOX/WSBA, as well as process vendor applications and maintain database for station Craft Shows. Overall duties will include, but are not limited to; scheduling and coordination of on air contests; coordinate live remote broadcasts and client appearances; maintain promotional vehicles for events and daily operation; assist in execution of special events/festivals; represent stations in a professional manner towards listeners and clients on site; may also have the opportunity to assist with daily functions of the station's Creative Department.

Experience/Skills: Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, dependable, detail oriented, energetic, and professional. Must be enthusiastic and enjoy intermingling with public and clients. Minimum 1 year radio promotions experience. Valid driver's license a must. Experience with Adobe Photoshop and PageMaker a plus. Ability/Interest in creative writing/advertising a plus. Must be available to work nights and weekends as required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds is necessary.
